Mary Churchill Obituary
Services for Mary Louise Churchill, 78, of 2209 Beech St., Caldwell, who died Monday, July 18, at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by the Rev. Paul E. Goins of the Greenleaf Friends Church.
Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
She was born June 26, 1905, at Emmett, and moved to Caldwell with her parents at an early age. She married Conrad York on Dec. 24, 1923, in Caldwell, and they made their home at Dixie. Mr. York died in 1947. She married Hank Churchill of Homedale on May 25, 1952, in Winnemucca, Nev., and they managed the Jackson Hotel in Homedale. They later moved to Caldwell and Mr. Churchill died in 1970.
She is survived by two sons, Bob York and Richard York, both of Caldwell; four daughters, Mrs. Edythe Truesdail of Nampa, Mrs. Oscar (Ruth) Dawson of Grand View, Mrs. Ralph (Faye) Dunlap and Mrs. Bob (Betty) Allen, both of Caldwell; one brother, Bill Phillips of Caldwell, and one sister, Mrs. Gerald (Bertha) Smith of Henderson, Nev.; 26 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Thursday from 1 until 8 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the Caldwell Senior Citizens Center, 1009 Everett St., Caldwell, Idaho 83605.
