1813 April 7  Jeffrey Beck sold Land to Seymore York 208 acres on Little River, Pendleton District, South Carolina. Seymore paid $200.00.

Jeremiah, Jeffry and John were sons of Seymour (Semore) and Meriam (Miriam) Beck York. They had lived in South Carolina before moving to Rabun County in an ox wagon. Seymour moved between 1818-1826. He purchased his first acreage in Rabun County from Lazarus Tilley in 1826."
