White Sauce, Darlene Purser Bair

Melt margarine in double boiler. Add flour and mix well. Add milk a little at a time. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Thin white sauce:
1 tbsp fat
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk

Medium white sauce:
2 tbsp fat
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk

Thick white sauce:
4 tbsp fat
4 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
