Deep Dish Brownies, Darlene Purser Bair

3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup flour, unsifted
1/2 cup cocoa (I like less cocoa, maybe 1/3 cup to scan 1/2 cup)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Add eggs; beat well. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add to egg mixture. Spread in greased 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350` for 40-50 minutes.
