Texas Pecan Pie, Darlene Purser Bair

1 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 cup white syrup
1/8 lb butter
1 cup pecans
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Cream butter and sugar, add salt, well beaten eggs, syrup and pecans, mix well. Bake in unbaked pastry shell for 1 hour at 300`.
