Maple Raisin Crisps, Darlene Purser Bair

1 cup quick rolled oats
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 egg beaten
1/4 tsp maple flavoring
3/4 cup sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup raisins
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Combine oats and brown sugar. Stir in oil, egg and maple flavoring. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to oat mixture, blend well. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 375` for 8-10 minutes. Makes 3 1/4 dozen.
