3 cups crunchy cereal (I use rice crispies)
1 cup salted peanuts (you can use sunflower seeds)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
Mix peanuts and cereal, set aside. Combine sugar and corn syrup. Cook and stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Pour hot syrup over the cereal mixture and stir gently to coat. Pat evenly into a greased 8x8" pan. Cut into bars when cooled.
