1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
5 tbsp milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
1 cup peanut butter
2 tsp vanilla
Cream together shortening and sugar, add vanilla. Mix in milk and peanut butter. Add dry ingredients. Make into balls, roll in sugar. Bake 8 minutes at 375`. They won't look done but they are. As soon as you remove from oven add a chocolate star in center of cookie. Makes 75-100 cookies, uses 1 lb of chocolate stars.
