Easter Basket Cookie, Darlene Purser Bair

3 egg whites
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vinegar
1 cup sugar

Beat egg whites stiff. Add salt and beat, add vinegar and beat. Add sugar gradually, beating all the time. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper on baking pans. Shake up like baskets and bake 45 minutes, very slowly. Remove from pan immediately.
