Pin Wheel Cookies, Darlene Purser Bair

1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg, milk, and vanilla. Add 1 square chocolate to 1/2 of dough. Roll out white dough 1/4 inch thick. Then roll the chocolate dough 1/4 inch thick. Place chocolate over white and roll together. Cut in slices and bake at 375` for 7-10 minutes. Chill overnight.
