Zucchini Cake, Darlene Purser Bair


Cream together:
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs

Add:
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp cocoa
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup sour milk
2 cups zucchini (grated)
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts

Mix dry ingredients to creamed ingredients and milk. Add 1/4 cup chocolate chips and 1/4 cup nuts. Pour into pan. Sprinkle remaining chips and nuts. Bake 40-43 minutes at 350*.
