Whole Wheat Bread, Darlene Purser Bair

Put together, let raise at 90`:
1/2 cup warm water
2 tbsp yeast

Put into bowl:
2 1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs

Sift together:
6 cups white flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup powdered milk

Into the things in your bowl add part the flour mixture and stir. Then add yeast mixture and more flour until it is a soft dough. Let rise at least double. Mix down and let rise 30 minutes. Mix down and let rise 20 minutes. Put into pan and let rise until double and bake at 375` for 40 or 45 minutes. It may take a little more flour, but you can tell as you get it mixed.
