Biscuits, Darlene Purser Bair

2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup milk
4 tbsp fat
2 tsp salt

I sift flour and other dry ingredients into mixing bowl. Work fat into dry ingredients with two knives. Add liquid a little at a time mixing by cutting in with knives. When dough is right to mix in the hands, roll or put onto lightly floured board to a 2 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Put on ungreased tin or pie pan. Bake in quick oven about 20 minutes. (8 people)
