Raisin Batter Bread, Darlene Purser Bair

1 cup raisins
2 tbsp margarine
2 tsp baking soda

Put in a bowl and add:
1 cup boiling water

Let sit 5 minutes, then add:
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour

Bake at 350` for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
